REON warmly extends the use of its space for suitable proposed workshops from artists, ceramists and other professionals. We are particularly excited by proposals which allow active exploration of the senses and bring the local community in contact with inspiring techniques and ideas not easily accessible living in the periphery.
Formats & Support
One full day course or two full day course during the weekend
A longer course can be facilitated after discussion.
REON is committed to providing administrative and practical support, promotional material and guidance when needed.
Raku workshop, led by Stylianos Kouklakis, 2024
Fees
The facilitator compensation and the workshop ticket are to be agreed in collaboration.
REON’s proposal is to offer a satisfactory artist fee according to the workshop tickets sold, plus 1 or 2 day accommodation for the duration of the workshop. Another option would be a residency format compensation: eg 7-10 days of on-site accomodation and use of the studio space for your personal practise. Depending on the period of the workshop, the space might be shared with another artist. The facilitator would be responsible for their own transportation to and from REON.
