Open Call For Workshop Facilitators

REON warmly extends the use of its space for suitable proposed workshops from artists, ceramists and other art professionals through this Open Call. We are particularly excited by proposals which allow active exploration of the clay medium and bring the local community in contact with inspiring techniques and ideas not easily accessible living in an island.

We are looking for workshops in one of the following formats: One full day course or two full day course during a weekend. A longer course can be facilitated after discussion. REON is committed to providing administrative support, promotional material and support by our team when necessary. Conditions of payment are agreed between REON and the facilitator under the scope of mutual understanding and respect. A proposal is to offer a fair fee according to the tickets sold, plus free accommodation for a two nights stay on the weekend you deliver your course. Another option is a week of free residency. Depending on the period of the residency, the space might be shared with another artist. The facilitator is solely responsible for their own transportation to and from REON.  

Please email hello@reon-space with a proposal of the workshop, a portfolio/link to your practise and if available, samples of previous work in facilitation, teaching and community work. Please outline any special equipment and accommodation requirements and anything else you find important to properly facilitate your ideas.
